As Patrick Norguet's first project for Ditre Italia, Melville reflects his characteristic approach to form - clarity, discipline and the ability of a single detail to define the character of the model. Here, the designer works with delicate lines and measured texture, turning a structural solution into an aesthetic highlight.
At the heart of the modular system is a precisely shaped fold with the logic of origami - an element that highlights the soft volumes and outlines the silhouette. This gesture has the finesse of a precisely tailored jacket and gives the model a calm, deep profile, noticeable both in its proportions and in the way the sofa is present in the space.
